Dr. Richard Pratt chairs the Old Testament Department. He received a Th.D. from Harvard University. He has traveled extensively throughout the world, evangelizing and teaching and is highly regarded as a brilliant, scintillating scholar and teacher. The author of numerous journal articles and four books, such as Designed for Dignity, He Gave Us Stories, and his recent commentary, 1 & 2 Chronicles, Dr. Pratt is also a contributor to the Literary Guide to the Bible. As demonstrated in his book, Pray with Your Eyes Open, Dr. Pratt has a great concern to help students grow spiritually and to apply theological truths to their daily lives. He is intensively involved in applying technology to theological education through his innovative Third Millenium project of multimedia instruction.
